July 2021 bride. So our venue is all inclusive so it includes the space for the ceremony/reception, catering, both cakes, flowers, decorations officiant, and the DJ. I went out and found an independent photographer so we have booked our photography and videography. I have also booked a photo booth, but just recently I was getting a gut feeling that I wasn’t going to like their service so I am in the process of finding another. My FH and I will be taking our engagement pictures this Friday (!) and I am hoping to order my save the dates by the end of this month to send them out next month or January.

July 2021 bride here! We have our venue + photographer booked. We’ve just taken our engagement photos.. and that’s about it! A bit behind here.. haha

Hi Alexandria! I was having the same problem planning a wedding in upstate NY from Atlanta. We ended up hiring a wedding planner who lives in upstate NY so she goes to all of the places and meets the vendors in person and then reports back with pictures and feedback. It has honestly been a game changer. If a full wedding planner is not in the budget then maybe some will contract to just take care of the hard to do online things like the venue.

July 31st moved from August 29th of this year. Planning has essentially come to a halt since I did a lot ahead of time. Picking things back up in Jan.

Greetings! July 2021 bride, we have completed the following: dress, venue (in house catering is included), cake, DJ, photographer, videographer, engagement photos, save the dates going out this month, wedding coordinator, bridal party, hair/make up and pre-marital counseling. I am still working on: florals (ugh, bane of my existence!), an officiant (my first choice lives in Europe so could be problematic with covid), wedding bands, bridesmaid/groomsmen attire, guest list (out of country and out of state guests) and hotel block.

We made a last minute decision and we’re going with indoor pics because we didn’t wanna reschedule. But I’m super envious of you 😂😂

July 2021 bride here. I really haven’t done much I have my venue, caterer and dress paid for. We have guest list done, STD out, our venue comes with 2 houses one that sleeps10 and the other that sleeps 15 so that’s all we’re doing for accommodation. The officiant is my god mother so that was taken care of quick. We are making our centerpieces and the only real flowers we will be having is my Bouquet and the flower girl pedals, the bridesmaids are carrying lanterns. We have 150 people invited (everyone is divorced and remarried- we have 10 parents between us if that tell you anything) so if we can’t have that many people we already told the venders we will reschedule we will not be downsizing. Me and my FH have been together 10 years and we can wait another if that means having the wedding we want.

July 17th 2021 bride here! I’ve booked the venue, the photographer and the DJ. Food is included in the venue. My dress is chosen and on its way. Bridesmaids dresses are selected and waiting to be ordered. Tuxes are the same way. Wedding bands are still in decision making stage but timeline is slowing shrinking as it gets closer every day 😖

We're getting married in July 2021 in Texas and yes, it's probably going to be very hot. We wanted ours outside as well but when we went to the venue this past July just to get a feel for it, we were sweating and getting bit my mosquitos so we decided have it inside and happy that our venue has an indoor option which is just as nice. You should definitely consider inside to be on the safe side or speak to your venue about the recommended time to start the ceremony where everyone feels comfortable. There are a lot of trees at our venue that I thought would provide enough shade but unfortunately it was still pretty hot and I don't want our guest passing out or our pictures looking crazy due to the heat. Good luck and congrats!

7/20/21 here, everything is done because we had to move it from this year to next. Now I just need to not look at too many things and decided that I want to change my mind on stuff that is already done.

July bride here 😁 we have our venue booked, photographer booked, engagement photos this week, his tux design, groomsmen tux design, and my wedding dress. Need Florist, caterer, DJ, and baker
