I’m so excited! I’m definitely losing sleep every now and then staying online getting ideas so I’m trying to set a schedule where I just put my phone down and get regular sleep. I’m praying that all of this coronavirus stuff will be over and done with by next year. All I’ve been doing lately is eating sleeping and drinking wedding stuff LOL but it’s been a great experience thus far and I cannot wait to have my wedding

Hahah I do the same - I go through phases where I think about the wedding 24/7 and then phases where I just totally abandon planning. Hopefully the world is calmer this time next year!

Definitely excited can’t believe the one year mark is finally here! My venue is all inclusive We booked in February. I love thats it’s all inclusive less stress and planning but sometimes I miss the endless planning and going over options. So planning has Come to a halt for now. All we have left to book is an officiant but haven’t had any luck getting back responses.

Ours is all-inclusive, too! Definitely much easier. I find myself looking into silly options just to keep myself entertained, lol. I hope you get responses from officiants soon!

Question for all June 2021 brides. What have you all gotten done for the wedding? I’ve definitely started planning in January/February but since corona I’ve stopped thinking about any planning and now I feel like I’m behind on things.

Nice! I agree it definitely is easier and lifts a huge weight off your shoulders. And thanks I hope I find an officiant to respond soon too!

Getting the last of my vendors booked and it feels so good to be able to start focusing on smaller details! I went to the florist yesterday and had a phone consultation with the rental company I want to use and it went great! I can’t believe we’re already a year out but I’m excited!

Congrats! I'm glad it's all coming together! I'm definitely into the small details now and it's really relieving to know that all the big things are taken care of.

Hi Iwona! I've got my venue (all-inclusive so that's caterer, decor, and planner, too), DJ, photog, HMUA, florist, and stationary all figured out. But, we went for a long engagement so I've had a bunch of time to do things. What do you have done already?

Hello! I’m getting really excited. We booked our venue and church way back in November (we got engaged last July). In April, we booked photo, video, and DJ. I’m so glad we were ahead on booking with all of the rescheduling for next year. This weekend, we are finally getting our engagement pictures done and plan on getting save the dates out by mid August. The next part I’m working on is asking our bridal party! I plan on doing that sometime this summer. I’m feel pretty optimistic things will be fine next year. 😊

Hi Sara! That's great! We're ahead on planning, too, and it's been so much less stressful this way. We don't have freak outs about planning because we have so much time to think about everything. We're trying to nail down the wedding party rn, too, but it's easier said than done! Fingers crossed that everything keeps getting better and we can have our weddings as planned!

Hey! My fiancé and I decided to go with an all inclusive venue so Dj, photographer, planner, food, cake, table decor, ceremony, cocktail, and reception spaces are included. Just a officiant to find and a florist now that I think about it. But like you our planning had been on hold since corona hit I’m in NY so it’s very hectic. With a lot of the 2020 brides having to cut their guest list my fiancé and I decided to play it by ear until thanksgiving or Christmas before sending out save the dates in case we need to trim our list as well. So just working on proposal boxes now. Just have to figure out how to get it to everyone.

Can I ask what's going in your proposal boxes?? I'm struggling so much with this! I like my ideas for a thank you gift at the end, but I'm struggling with proposals.

    Proposal boxes

Sure! I decided to keep them simple. I purchased some “will you be my bridesmaid?” Mini wine glass labels on Etsy, To go onto mini barefoot pink moscato bottles. I purchased blush pink stemmed wine cups, lip glosses and nail polishes and some candies. Amazon sells these nice bundle gift boxes. So I got those and pink shred basket filling to lay the gifts onto. I may add one more thing to it like a bath bomb but that’s pretty much it.

Lol same here. I’ve definitely been on Etsy adding everything under the sun to my cart just to keep the planning alive.

These sound super cute!! Are you having to ship any of them? I was planning to do the mini wine/champagne bottles and a glass but I have to ship them so I don't know. I just want them to be cute and yours sound great!

Thanks! And I have no idea honestly. I was just talking with my fiancé about planning a day to just drop off the boxes to everyone. But I’d have to find a day that everyone would be home and sync their schedules. So that seems like it may be a hassle. I have considered shipping them as well and ordering shipping supplies.

Out of curiosity I just looked up if shipping wine was legal and it’s not for anyone unlicensed. I guess I’ll be planning a day to drop the boxes off to everyone.

Ahh that sounds like you got so many things done and out of the way!! The only things I’ve gotten done is getting my venue booked and getting our church booked. Definitely behind on things but I think we’ve also found a DJ that we might book. When booking your DJ what kind of things did you ask and go over with yours?
