Please help me with shoes or a veil - like what do you put with this that won't detract from it? I found simple and comfy rose gold shoes (my jewelry is rose gold)... but is that right with this? I'm lost... Oh my flowers should be similar to this. Smiley smile

A tip I received from a very organized and wedding experienced family member is to use Excel and go through every single step of your wedding day with start and end time next to it. For me, this uncovered many items I overlooked. Also, I currently do not have a coordinator, so it was a must. Any organizational tips to share?

A tip I have: pack everything into totes with a list on top. One for bride, another for groom, rehearsal, reception (label these as 1 of X, 2 of X, etc.), another for parents, etc. As you pack them add to the list on top so you know everything that's in a tote. Have a binder with all paperwork, checks, contacts, tips, etc. Choose which tote that goes in and add it to the top of that list! Lost marriage license means no wedding - or needing to redo the signing, etc.

    Stay organized. Smiley smile

Is anybody having to consider postponing their wedding due to the coronavirus? I am and I’m a little freaking out! I’m probably going to postpone the bachelorette party. It’s like I have these two weeks of quarantine to plan a wedding that may not even take place as scheduled, this is crazy!! I’m trying to keep a positive outlook on it, but the possibility of having to postpone gets realer and more probable every day.

Yes, we are considering it. But rescheduling isn't as easy as it seems either. So, there's that too. The issue is that everyone is rescheduling. That means my chapel has no Saturday's from May through December... fyi.

Right, same. Maybe we’ll do a small ceremony and a big one later on when this all clears up... Who knows, there’s so many unknowns right now. I’m trying to worry about it too much because by June things could go back to normal.

Praying things will die down as soon as possible. The thought of this virus hurting my wedding is devastating.

We have also talked about this. As of right now, we are continuing with our wedding. We will keep an eye on things, but I am having faith that everything will be back to normal before June. We have a plan B in place if needed, I am really looking forward to June 27th.

My issues are dress fittings, hair and makeup trials, the tuxedo store being open - it's at the mall; those kinds of thinks. And doing all that in the few weeks after the isolation is lifted.

I feel bad for the couples getting married within the next month. I’m hoping and praying coronavirus is resolved soon. The best thing we can do now is stay home and participate in the guidelines from government and encourage others to do the same. Hope this will make it resolve quickly as possible. Stay strong brides ⭐️

I'm starting to get down. All the planning and preparation to have to consider putting it off for months or even possibly a year if we can't find space, dates, times, etc. I know in the end all that matters is the love shared, but it still hurts. I thought of having a ceremony still on 6/27 but then having a gathering of family and friends at a later time wherever we will be able to find space. Then there will also be the struggle of getting deposits refunded, rescheduling dress fittings, etc.

I was able to find a date in August on a Friday. I just changed everything - everyone was amazing. We just went with it. I checked with my chapel, then hall, then photographer, and lastly officiant. Once I had everyone saying yes - I emailed them all at the same time and moved it. So far, no penalties. It will work out one way or another. I promise.

If we have to, we would still celebrate the Sacrament of Matrimony on June 27, but have it be a very small, private ceremony. Then in another date in the future, we would renew our wedding vows and have a reception then.

There’s enough room in my wedding dress accommodate a pregnancy if need be, for the second celebration.

As of now, we are keeping the wedding date and hoping this is behind us by then. We are postponing my bridal shower originally scheduled for April 5th to be determined. If needed, we will likely keep the date and have a small wedding. We talked to our vendors and they are currently keeping all May and June weddings as scheduled. ❤️
