What is your thought process right now? Are you pushing the wedding back? Are you still going ahead with everything until told otherwise?
I would love to hear from all of you and how you're handling this trying time.

Hey there! I know this virus has caused so much chaos. My wedding is April 25th, one of my bridesmaids gets married May 16th and a family member gets married May 30th and all three of our weddings are still booked!

Hey, my wedding WAS only 14 days and because of the virus I was forced by my venue to reschedule to their next available date...my wedding is now pushed back to July 5th...it sucks and I was beyond upset but my fiancé helped me understand that perhaps more time will equal a better outcome!

Same boat. My wedding is 6/13/2020, half my guests are coming out of state to VA. I also live out of state from wedding venue. Not sure what the vibe will be around this time. Just seems people might be even uncomfortable still being near each other. What do I do hug and greet guests..my family is very affectionate. I just reached out to all my vendors just to get information on current available dates for the late summer/fall 2020. I said I’m just getting information for plan b. It’s best to have this information now vs changing last minute. They all were very understanding and have been flexible and seems like they will transferr deposits to the new date without fees...still waiting to hear back from a few to see what dates overlaps. At this point We are thinking we also have the option to have a smallceremony at the church in Cali to get married sooner, and do the reception with vow renewals if we postponed. We will decide this week what to do.

I also am getting married May 30th... My venue said they are okay with us still hosting as long as we feel comfortable with it. My fiance and I have been talking about what our plan b would be. Hoping for the best!

June 6th wedding date here. We postponed until July, 31st. I just want it to be a happy time, and I wanted to give guests a little time to feel more comfortable about attending. That’s just how me and my fiancé felt.

We have the same wedding day! Smiley sad We are contacting vendors looking for dates for later 2020. My mom suggested June 12, 2021 but waiting a year is something I didn’t want to do. Smiley sad We have family flying in from the east coast.

Mine is June 20th...a destination wedding in Vegas...so I have added concerns. I haven't cancelled anything and don't plan to. My family is all on holding mode as well. I hope that this gets resolved so people can feel comfortable in traveling. But only time will tell. We don't know whats going to happen next week, so trying to make decisions right now is very stressful. I'm thinking if we do have to postpone...we'll do a 1 year anniversary the following year. We've already decided we are going to get married on that day...even if we have to go to the justice of the peace with just some friends and family that can make it.

I'm trying not to panic. As of right now we are going forward with our plans. We will see if anything gets affected. My shower (5/3), bachelorette party (6/18), and wedding (6/27) all stand the chance of getting postponed. I spoke with our venue and they are being great, so we have options. I am really really hoping nothing needs to be postponed.

And here I've been worried about the weather the most. This really brings you down to reality. I hope we can still have our wedding date and vendors on the original date. Even if we have to cut down the guest list to a very small amount I'm willing to do so.

I pushed my shower from april 4 to may 14th, I have a feeling this won't be over in 2 weeks and I'm holding out for my june 6 wedding until I'm told otherwise, I literally have knots in my stomach as im thinking about asking my vendors what the rescheduling might look like. I hope this ends for all of us

We are looking at postponing our June 7th wedding! We live in Ohio and we just got put on a stay-at-home order and the state is preparing for this to go well into May. A lot of our family is older and living out of state and we don’t want to put them at risk. Regardless, we are going to get married no matter the date but we also have to consider to safety and health of those we love ❤️A little bit more time gives a chance to sort out some more details too!

Just something to keep in mind- I see a lot of people post poning summer weddings already and moving them to the fall. The virus is expected drop during summer months and resurge during the fall, so that may not be the best plan. Of course we can’t plan for every possibility that could happen, but I’d suggest waiting until we’re closer to summer to re evaluate and make a decision then instead of having to reschedule multiple times.
