What is your thought process right now? Are you pushing the wedding back? Are you still going ahead with everything until told otherwise?
I would love to hear from all of you and how you're handling this trying time.

I am so torn on whether or not to postpone our June 6th wedding. 😭 We've already rescheduled my April 4th shower to May 16th, and our wedding venue isn't offering a refund if we cancel (we've already paid the venue off in full). As of right now the only dates they have available for rescheduling are in November and December. My bridesmaids have already ordered their SHORT tiffany blue dresses and our wood flowers are already being dyed nice summer pink colors. It's so much to consider with all the work we've already put into it! Our invite list is like yours, around 230 with everyone pretty "local" (furthest being about 1.5 hours away). This has been such a stressful time for everyone and I'm not sure what to do at this point! 😭 Good luck to you all. 💕

Oh I mean I got "temporarily laid-off" because of the virus. I'm a dental hygienist and we're not supposed to be working right now. So, they did it that way so that we can file for unemployment until we reopen. Still sucks waiting to get unemployment though Smiley sad and it's very scary. That's why I completely understand where you're coming from!

I work for a construction company, my boss told me he Hope's I'll be back in 2-3 weeks, that was a week and a half ago already. So I'm hoping it's just a temporary lay off for me too!

My wedding was supposed to be April 25th, 2020 but everything has been cancelled due to covid 19 and today I just got word I’ll be laid off my job until further notice starting April 1st. Hoping I’m able to find a date this year to reschedule too 😔

Date twin! My wedding date is 6/6/20 and I have two bridal showers: 1) April 25th and 2) May 16th.

At the moment, it's too early to make a decision about the actual wedding date. I am so hopeful that things will clear up at that point. Now the April shower, my mother is waiting to hear back from the venue about pushing it back to May. I am super nervous about everything. Literally everything could come together in the nick of time or fall apart in the blink of an eye. But while I still have hope and there isn't a need to make a decision yet, I am holding on go my hope for things.

We have the same wedding date June 6th. I have to bridal showers scheduled: 1) April 25th and 2) May 16th. It's a nerve wrecking time but I think May and June dates will be fine. I am just trying to stay hopeful!

I am on the same page with dates!! My wedding is 5/30 and I worry everyday. However, the shower was postponed and could possibly happen after the wedding. Positive thoughts for everyone! Hope we can both keep the day! Good luck.

We have the same date. Let’s pray that everything will be fine. I am very optimistic and we prepared for it for a long time. Let’s just be excited. Amidst all the chaos, this too shall come to pass.

We have the same wedding date and my shower is April 26. Now I’m thinking of postponing the shower until sometime in May since social distancing has now been moved back to April 30. I’m really hoping for the best for my June wedding. My venue has no other open days for this year so I would have to wait until next year which is extremely upsetting.

I am so sorry to all the brides dealing with this! We did not need this on top of regular wedding stress! I'm surprised that some of you in early June haven't heard anything from your venues. Our wedding date is June 13, and my venue requested all brides from now until July pick back up dates. My shower on April 25 got cancelled last week. So dealing with all of this unknown is driving me crazy! I'm this 👌 close to just making the decision and moving the wedding so that at least then I'll be able to make concrete decisions about everything else. Good luck everyone!

We just moved our June 6th wedding to September 19th! I couldn’t stand the thought of just waiting for things to get better ASAP Smiley sad For those early June dates I would suggest to pick back up dates. We got very lucky with ours as we got the last Saturday in September. All October Saturdays were booked since all March/ April / most May couples rescheduled..

You’re lucky you got a date. My venue has no more dates for the year so I would have to wait till next year. That’s the main reason I’m playing the wait and see game but it’s killing me.

My wedding date is 5/30/2020 and we spoke with our venue today. Only available backup dates are Tuesday and Wednesday’s in the fall or December dates. It’s heartbreaking but I’m still holding on to hope. We have 200+ guests so it’s a tough hope to hold on to. We’ve been planning for two years.
