    Ladies— hang in there. 🤍🙏🏻
I am a wedding photographer, who is planning a wedding for next year. And I’ve been going through the motions with my business, but especially with my 2020 brides/grooms. Summer couples— stay positive. We’re kicking ass + telling COVID-19 it’s not allowed to stick around after MAY. Remember that at the end of the day— you’re getting married to be with the love of your life. It’s about the two of you + your story. And so far, everything is looking GOOD from June on— and this is me speaking from a vendor point of view— and as a friend. We’re here to help + support one another ✨🤍

Our wedding is set for June 6 and as I keep saying the news change daily I am so really starting to get nervous and worried that this is just not gonna pass by then this is my 1st wedding I'm almost 39 and I've been planning this for a year now I have been engaged for almost 2 years and this would be my dream to keep it for June 6 I just really don't know what to do at this point we haven't even sent out invitations and we were told by the venue to wait till mid April to see how things go till then but I am praying every day that this passes and dies down very soon!!!!

Yes! I’m a June Bride and I am not letting another birthday (August) pass to get married. We’ve been together coming up on 7 years and I am not waiting for another year. I’d rather do courthouse nuptials then a celebration later if it comes to that.

I had to cancel 3 weeks before our wedding date. Stay hopeful if you have a few months. Let’s all just lift our worries and anxiety up and pray this will pass by summer! 🙏🏽

June 6th bride here too. Did you already send out invites? I was just about to order mine when all of this hit. Now I’m not sure what to do.

That’s the attitude girl! I’m also getting married on June 6 and I’m going to wait as much as I can to decide if I have to postpone or not. We’re thinking of waiting until the first week of May to decide, we’re not going to let anything ruin our special day. Plus all businesses will have to reopen eventually (by at a least the end of April) so that we don’t see any more economic crisis in our country. Keep staying positive! Most people cannot be unemployed until June, it’d unreal!

We did the same thing, we rescheduled our June 19, 2020 wedding until May 28, 2021. It just felt safer and more concrete of an idea. The peace of mind was the biggest factor, we want older and international guests to feel safe and comfortable joining in on our special day.

We just canceled today, our July 11, 2020 wedding. Was the hardest decision however with my FFIL battling stage 4 cancer it was a no brainer. Our venue agreed to refund all of our deposits and we will still use our photographer for the ceremony at his parents house with just the 5 of us. We are lucky to have chosen understanding vendors that are willing to refund. Here’s to a Facebook video chat ceremony🍻

I'm June but chose a contingency date for August. I'm so stressed over all this but trying to stay positive. We're in NJ where it's really bad. Hope it goes away soon.

Thank you so much for that post! Our wedding is 8/15/2020, and the date means a lot to us as it would be our three-year anniversary. I hope we have enough time, but we have been a bit nervous. Should we decide to post-pone, I will definitely take your post into account!

My wedding was in May but we postponed to July 11th because we are starting law school in the fall and want to be married before then. I’m freaking out as well. Sending good vibes to all of you. ❤️❤️
