June Brides - Invitation/RSVP Dates

You are still fine. My timeline is similar to yours. I hit 2 months on Monday, and mine are going out tomorrow. My RSVPs are only 3 weeks before the wedding, although we have a very small guest list (mostly family).

Honestly I would have waited til mid next week, but it's too much of a PITA for me to get to the post office on a week day and I don't want to drop them in a mailbox.

I think you are right on track. I mailed my invites last week and my RSVP due date is May 10, wedding date June 8, so that is about one month before!

I wanted a full month to figure out the seating chart and escort cards, that is why I chose May 10 as the due date, I have no idea if it is proper etiquette or not, and I really dont care

I think you'll be okay. I mailed mine earlier this week, my rsvp date is May 18th which gives me 2 weeks to get the final count to the coordinator and pretty much a month to do escort cards.

I was already freaking out about not having them ordered yet, but the woman ordering them is also doing the calligraphy so i know she's trying to get them in fast so she has enough time to do the addresses.

I'm hoping to get mine out next week. I did't know anything about the RSVP by date when we ordered them. So when I was meeting with my coordinator she just put May 18th on the RSVP. We need to have all our numbers in by June 18th. I've started to think that May 18th is a little to early but there is nothing I can do about it now. It just gives us extra time to get in touch with those who haven't sent it yet.

Yay June brides! I think your timeline sounds fine. It's really up to you and your FH and what feels best to you. Congrats!

You are fine! I have mine early because of vendors...don't worry about it. That's plenty of leeway. I built in a cushion for myself to hunt the stragglers down!

I think u are fine too. Mine is 6/26 and I sent mine out way early- since its a DW. My Rsvp is 5/26. I kinda wish i made it earlier since I have to have final # on same day and its a holiday. Is what it is-== still waiting for about 15 rsvps.

You will be fine. We also chose May 15th because of our vendors, and we are also having a DW. We mailed 50 invitations early and have received all except 2 RSVP.

@Lynzey - LMAO I'll be waiting for that post! Half my family thinks it's a fun little race to be the first RSVP and the other half is like RSV-yeai'llgettoit. Going to be interesting!
