Here we are, folks, 2 days before rsvp's are due. How many people have yet to respond do you suppose?

98. I'm waiting to hear if people are coming or not. 51 have accepted and 24 declined. About 170 or 173 were invited. I did an all online rsvp which I'm wondering if that's part of the problem. I don't need to give the caterer a final count until the first week of April so I have time to hunt... i just had hoped it would be a few stragglers. Give me strength and positive vibes.

Sending you a lot of positive vibes. We did online rsvp too, and people flaked about RSVP'ing at all. My mom ended up tracking down most of her family to get the declines. I think online rsvps are both easier and harder - easier to do and harder to remember to do. So chin up! You can start harassing after your date.

Something happened in our culture where RSVPing is just no longer on the front on anyone's minds. It's a busy world with too many distractions. 98 is a lot, but I'm wondering if I'll have the same issue! We're inviting 150, but most of them are out of state (and we're in Alaska...so it's like a destination wedding for them). I can kind of guess already...I'm planning on 80ish, but you never know who is secretly buying a plane ticket! Good luck tracking them down...how frustrating! Sending lots of positive vibes!

Online RSVP's make me so nervous! You will probably have to track all of those folks down and RSVP on behalf of them. I hope all goes well, best wishes!

What on the world is going on. That's a lot of "no's". Is it thru the week? An odd time of day?? Take that into consideration but if it's not that you gotta start calling. It's tough but how else will you know.

My RSVP date is today and I'm at 78 no replies! I was at 100 earlier this week. Now to track everyone down!! It's a lot of work but most are nos that haven't RSVPed so that makes my life a bit easier. Good luck!!

I just got basically all of mine done! FH has a cousin in the military, so he is still waiting on leave approval.
I may or may not (a.k.a. totally did) have told a little fib when asking guests who had not replied their status, by telling them the numbers were due the next day to the caterer. It worked really well as 20 of the 30 replied within two hours!
