Super November 2014

Just did a test weigh of my invitations!

Rachel Kay, on February 18, 2014 at 9:33 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 9

And I am at 1.1 oz!

and I'm sad because I am over weight. I am going to try to change a few things to reduce it to a solid oz. needless to say I'm sad.

That is all

If you love them, the extra 21 cents each won't be a killer hopefully Smiley smile

I'm pretty sure mine will not be the normal postage amount (49 cents I think) because I don't think I will use a traditional size card. But if I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM I won't mind forking up the extra money. I say do what your heart desires! :-)

Mine were .70 because they weighed 1.5 ounces. I'm sad.. lol. I think it's because of our double envelope.

If I could mail them without an envelope at all they would be underweight. Stupid envelope. Maybe I'll get some birds and train them to deliver my invites? Yes, yes, this could work.

I also just realized that me being sad because I'm "overweight" could easily be taken out of context.

I am so nervous that when I go to send my invites out it will be pricey! How much can you weigh to only have to use one stamp

Sorry Rachel, I had to say it like that haha

Forever stamps are just for one ounce, @MrsIsa. So that wont help Smiley sad

I say for 21 cents, it might be worth it. An extra $21 for 100 invites? If you love 'em, do it!

Oh, I love my invites, so an extra $20 bucks it will be. No worries! When I am completely satisfied I will post pictures of them, but not until they are perfect.
