Just for fun...Celebrity Invites/RSVPs?

Based on what someone mentioned in that previous thread, I am going to invite George and Laura Bush. Found a website (didn't save he url) where people were posting the letters they received in response to a request for an autograph from him (used the Presidential Library's address for this). I want to do this behind FH's back and surprise him with it at the RD, because I told him it was crazy to invite them.

I tried so hard to find Mel Brooks address. Man is elusive.

We sent one to Bill Murray. Disappointed he didn't at least send an autograph back.

My daughter would just go nuts with the Peter Capaldi one, AND he sent a photo! I'm debating about it, and who to send to. I think maybe some of our favorite shows like NCIS and Grimm. I also thought about sending one to Clay Matthews and/or Aaron Rodgers. Maybe just the whole Green Bay Packer team.

I was a framer for 5 years and I framed a few wedding rsvps from celebs, most notable Queen Elizabeth! It was so formal and polite, I'll probably send her an invite.

Haha. Wow I just have to say thank you for this post. We are having a Doctor Who themed wedding and this would be amazing. My FH will absolutely love this.

We sent one to Mickey and Minnie and the present that is all, even getting back the printed autographs was still pretty cool!

We sent invites to Ray Lewis and Kobe Bryant (with personal letters!) but we didn't get anything back We also sent one to the White House and got a really nice keepsake congratulations from the President so that's cool!

This is amazing I will have to see if the actors from Vikings would write something back -- FH would LOVE it!

I'm planning on sending invites to the Queen. The Pope, the President, and a few favorite actors. I'll let y'all know how it goes!

A total of zero celebrities responded to our invitations. Taylor Swift and Ellen both lost points with me because HELLOOOOO I NEEDED TO KNOW IF THEY PLANNED ON COMING TO MY WEDDING OR NOT.

Even the Disney characters didn't send anything

@Laura Marie - I didn't do Taylor yet because I am pretty sure she gets way too much fan mail but I still might if I have extra invites! I sent one to Dory (aka Ellen) and didn't get a response and the President didn't send me anything back either... maybe it's because FH is a republican.

My darling FH wants to invite the Men in Blazers. They host a hilarious soccer podcast. I tweeted @meninblazers and they said to email them!

I didnt even know this was a thing. How would you even go about finding address for these famous people? If they are not on that website you attached, of course.

We wanted to send a few, but ended up needing most of our "extra" invites for actual guests, hmph. The only celeb invite we sent was to Jim Harbaugh, and we didn't get anything back. Double hmph.
