Just Married, Pro Pictures ♡

Hi everyone ♡ Finally got married on October 19th, 2019 to my best friend. I have a ton of pictures from different phones that just captured beautiful moments, I couldn't imagine what my photographer came up with. I couldn't have asked for a better one after I saw these pictures. Of course, they aren't even half of the actual pictures he took because I also didn't want to post them all. Here are some of the pro pictures that absolutely caught my heart which involved my dad, my now husband and our ring exchange. I couldn't have asked for a better day, better people to witness or a better mate to get married to. Although it was a ceremony by judge, we (she) managed to make a beautiful ceremony out of a short period of time where we signed the papers, exchanged personal vows, exchanged rings and united our love with coffee and beach sand. Everyone loved our unity ceremony which they'd never heard of before. Here in P.R. unity ceremonies or judge ceremonies being formally held aren't common. It's kind of sad sometimes actually. They find more meaning and importance from a church wedding instead of a court. In front of many puertorrican's eyes getting married by a court process demonstrates you messed up in your life in some way that you're now being punished by getting married on court. So basically, getting married by court here is that you're getting married "secretly" or messed up too much for your family to make witnesses out of a forced marriage. But that's not the law, it's just how people are used to misunderstand. What?! I know right?! Both our families have two different types of religions and we didn't agree with our ceremony being held in honor of either one so we knew we wanted to be married straight forward by a judge. Difference? Getting married by court just outside of court and with a gorgeous ceremony so everyone would see the real importance and beautiful thing it is on getting married by a judge too. No shame on that to absolutely anyone! And it was time some of our friends saw and understood that (being a little judgy). With us including a unity ceremony with a judge, it brought the attention of many about its meaning so being the first of our friends to actually do one meant a lot, demonstrated a lot, plus it was also our way of showing respect to all who perform unity ceremonies around the world. Even though puertorricans are not used to those ceremonies here, everyone left with a beautiful impression and respect about how not all judge/officiant marriages need to be straight forward or have a negative meaning like it's commonly seen here, but you can also make a beautiful thing out of signing papers lol. I wanted to make sure the meaning of two souls turned into one represented by my favorite beach's sand and our favorite brand of coffee flour (we made our relationship stronger on dates that always involved my favorite beach or a cup of our favorite coffee) stuck and everyone understood it. They sure did and loved it ♡
