Just wrote our invite to the President!

We are sending invitations to the President, the Pope and our favorite NHL hockey player and his girlfriend! I've read the President and the Pope send back a letter and we're hoping for a note from our fav player too! The pic below is what others have gotten back and we would like to keep them in a scrapbook Smiley smile

Did you send any invitations to a celebrity or famous figure? I've heard Mickey/Minnie and Cinderella/Prince Charming send letters too!

    We sent a bunch out. The only thing we've gotten back was a decline from Richard Rawlings lol.

    We sent one to Mickey and Minnie and received a post card back! Also sent one to a few of FH's favorite pro golfers and one sent the RSVP back! We definitely squealed for a few minutes haha

    We sent 8 or so out. We got the same letter as is pictured from the President. We haven't gotten anything else back yet, but the NWHL NY team did tweet our invite! I've heard it can sometimes take a few months, so fingers crossed that we still get letters or postcards or pictures back.

    I would like to send one to Stevie Nicks and one to David Tutera! I'm not sure how to go about doing it though lol, how did you find out how to do this?

    We were planning on sending some out. The one I really want to do is Dan and Shay. I just can't find an address. I think it would be amazing to get something back to go with the remembrance of our first dance.

    We wrote to the President and Mickey and Minnie -- the both "wrote" back. The President sent a card like the above and we kept it with the envelope which is postmarked from the White House. Micky and Minnie sent a postcard.

    It took about 7 weeks to hear back from the House of Mouse and 8 to hear back from the President.

    I am wanting to invite a few celebrities from my FH past as well as a few that I love today. My FH's best friend was murdered 5 years ago. He was a famous basketball player for Memphis, Sacramento, Caliver's and the Hawks. Since his passing, My FH does not communicate with his prior friends in the league and I know it has to do with memories from his best friends death. However, he does get excited when he's spotted out and someone knows him. I think if they attend it would be a nice addition to the wedding day.
