Dedicated August 2020

Keep occupied but doing what??

Jacqueline, on January 8, 2020 at 7:14 PM Posted in Florida Planning 0 2
We are marrying on a Fri night at 6 pm. My dilemma is what do I do all day up until it’s time to get ready? I will be one anxious basket case for sure. And to think of not sleeping next to him the night before.... talk about withdrawal. We will have been together for 11 yrs when we marry. Finally decided it was time because neither of us are getting younger and God forbid one of us takes ill. We want to be able to have say in one another’s medical needs.

First of all you don’t have to spend the night apart. People now make their own traditions. We spent the night before and the morning of our wedding together until it was time to do my hair and makeup and I’m glad we did. You will be busy with last minute things the day is and it will go very quickly. Do what makes you guys most comfortable.

Hey Jacqueline! As Cyndy mentioned, you don’t have to sleep separately the night before. If you feel like you will both sleep better together, I would encourage you to do so! It will be a long day and you will need to be well-rested.

What time will you start to get ready? Personally, I would fill the time with activities that keep me calm and relaxed. I would have a nice long shower or bath. Get some nice brunch. Watch a movie or read a book. Hang out with my family and friends who will be getting ready with me.
