It's our final tradition! How do you feel about the cake smash? Is it a cute and fun memorable wedding moment? Or would you be super pissed if your new spouse smashed cake in your face? 🍰 What's your vote on the cake smash? Keep or cancel? Photo by Naomi Wong Photography in Kapaa, HI Thanks for...

Keep! We are placing bets on seeing who gets caked, we've been practicing all year so far I've caked him 27 times he's cake me 3 times. I think I'm going to win, that or he's a really good hustler.

Cancel. It is so much mess and your makeup would be destroyed for the rest of the night and pictures.

Nope. It’s cute if it’s a little frosting on the nose, but I’m paying to look beautiful for that day. My fiancé already knows not to do this lol I’ve warned him many times.

Cancel. HARD PASS. I do not want my husband to smash cake in my face or me to smash cake in his face. I will have spent alot of time on my makeup and cake is sticky. No thank you. Cancel immediately. 👎

I don't think we'll be doing this at our wedding. We aren't big cake people and don't really like being messy when it comes to our food.

I basically said that if she smashed cake into my face, the marriage would be over almost as soon as it began. Fortunately, she felt likewise.

Cancel. Like everyone else said, who wants to wreck their dresss and have a dirty face the rest of the evening?

Keep! As long as the groom knows how to do it respectfully. I like a little light hearted fun, I never saw any issues but now as a bride I do start to see why a lot want to forego it to save their makeup 😅😅

We kinda agreed not to do it at our cake tasting but with that grin on our faces so will most likely he will try and I will be ready to reciprocate. So CANCEL for the record but KEEP in the back of my head.

Cancel. I didn’t pay this much for a dress, my makeup and hair for it to get ruined by a cake. Also, I don’t think my fiancé would like it either

Change >.> I had wanted to cancel it, but apparently my FH has decided that possible death would be worth smashing cake in my face anyway D: he said he would be carried to his grave happy.

Keep! It's lighthearted, playful fun! I thank if its done respectfully (not full face smash, or cake destroying rumble) then there's really no harm in doing it.

CANCEL! I feel like with as much as some brides pay for make-up, I would hate to have to wash my face and clean off half of my makeup. And I absolutely do not want to risk getting any cake on my dress.

We are keeping it. In fact we went to one wedding where they were all nice and polite. At the same time looked at each other and said definitely not going to be us. We plan for it to be fun and very messy lol.

cancel. FH doesnt want to get his clothes dirty & I agree. If you're going to spend that much on a dress, you dont want to get it filthy.

Absolutely cancel. We are spending so much money to look and feel our best that day that having cake smashed in our faces is going to be a big NO.
