It's our final tradition! How do you feel about the cake smash? Is it a cute and fun memorable wedding moment? Or would you be super pissed if your new spouse smashed cake in your face? 🍰 What's your vote on the cake smash? Keep or cancel? Photo by Naomi Wong Photography in Kapaa, HI Thanks for...

I’m in between. I told my fiancé if he does it I request not on the dress or on my eyes but I don’t mind.

Cancel. I'm spending too much money on my dress and makeup. FH has promised to not smash any food in my face and I promised the same

Cancel. With the amount of money and time spent on makeup and hair to have a handful of cake smashed in my face, no no lol.

Plus I think it would get out of hand fast knowing myself and FH so better safe then sorry, no cake smash.

I always think it’s disrespectful and maybe I’m superstitious but every wedding I’ve been to where they did the cake smash, the couple eventually divorced

To each their own, but both parties must be on the same page. We're fork people.

Is it weird that I want to keep this?! Nothing crazy though and not on my dress or in my hair.

    CANCEL.

It's rude, I'll have had my makeup done, and it's not exactly a caring gesture on your wedding day.

That said, FH has asked if he may "boop" my nose with icing... mostly so he can kiss it off (he's a delightful sap). I have agreed to small dots of icing, for the adorbs photos.

I don’t like this, it’s always seemed mean to me. My FH also thinks the same so that’s a relief lol

Cancel. I absolutely hate this because it is disrespectful. Why would you want to do that to your new spouse?
