Keep or Cancel: Cake Smash?

I would love to keep this tradition because it is fun, sweet, and just something i would enjoy doing

Cancel. I wish I would participate in this and ruin my expensive make up... nope not happening

Cancel, I paid big money for this face and we've still got a night of pictures to take. Plus, I think the delicate actual feeding of the cake is cuter

Cancel. "Cake smash" is not a tradition in my family, and I was shocked to learn this is an actual thing. Through my religion and family, we believe in the bride and groom cutting the cake and sharing a bite lovingly. It is a symbol of how the bride and groom will love, nourish, and care for each other in their life together. Seriously, cake smashing is really considered a tradition now? This saddens me.

Cancel! My FH knows better than to mess my makeup...hair...or dress up! I am too prissy. lol

I don't like it for us at least. I have been to some weddings where it was hilarious and fitting. A big cancel for us, though.

We totally cancelled this, we don't want to have to clean-up before continuing the wedding.

Undecided. But I want to cancel, its messy and I feel its rude, especially when you pay a good price for your hair and makeup.

My FH and I have mutually agreed to cancel the cake smashing. We see no rhyme or reason for that. We will be feeding cake to each other with forks.

Skipping the smash...probably....I might dip a finger in icing and smear it on his nose but that's about it

Cancel! I think it's super rude. We still have an entire wedding to get through if you smear my makeup and get cake all over my dress I am going to be super pissed. Don't ruin my day!

Cancel! I will be spending waaaay too much money for my makeup to be ruined. It’s fine if it’s a cute smear of icing on the lips or nose, but some people go way too far and I don’t feel like digging cake out of my nose during me wedding.
