On the fence about this one. It's cute, fun & makes for great photos but I'm not sure about having to redo my make up & cake on the dress. Even though we're going with a traditional white cake.

Totally keeping but throwing a spin on it. We have vote jars. The jar with the most money in it given by the guests, gets to smash the cake in the others face.... It's okay by me and my FH. Some good fun

My fiance and I just had this discussion. He wanted to do it and I said definitely not especially with the cost of dress, hair, and makeup so we finally agreed to just put a little on each other's noses

Keep, I’m smashing the F out of my FH face with cake. And the cleanup will give us a chance to get away from the chaos for a few minutes. Maybe sneak in an adult activity in our room (hotel wedding) 😂

I want to keep this!! The only thing is I HATE getting messy so I only want the cake smashed on FH, but not me. I want him to feed me my first piece of cake. FH said if I smash cake on him, he'll smash the cake on me back, so we probably won't do this tradition because, asforementioned, I hate getting messy

Hard cancel. I'm not ruining my make-up/hair/dress/decor for tradition, on top of making a mess we'll have to clean up before closing down the reception. And who likes having *anything* shoved in their face??

Cancel - I play games but there's nothing cute about having cake smashed in one's face. I dared people to do it to my daughter at her 1st birthday party and I dare my FH to smash any cake in my face - he knows better
