Keep or Cancel: Garter Toss?

I have to confess that I've never actually seen a garter toss in person! But apparently 37% of grooms still participate in this reception tradition! Will this toss tradition make the cut for your wedding? Do you want to keep or cancel this toss tradition? Photo from Red Gate Farms in Savannah, GA...

Cancel. Most at my wedding will either be married or too young (or cool) to think it’s appropriate.

Cancel. I don't think it's appropriate to be throwing away your wife's warm undergarments into a crowd! Smiley atonished

Cancel. I never actually knew of this until my sister's wedding and it was the most uncomfortable feeling ever to have my now-fiancé put the garter on my leg in front of family and my sister's friends. It was just super awkward and I felt like I shouldn't be doing this in public. I am the youngest of 4 and having my dad and older 2 brothers see it, I felt so embarrassed.

My FH and I were just at his cousin's wedding and they did the toss, unfortunately only two guys got on the floor - I think it should be clear, if you're not MARRIED, get on the dance floor for the garter toss!!!! He caught the garter Smiley smile but we will keep the garter toss for him to have "fun" getting it down my leg...lol

Cancel, I think we have 2 single guests attending the wedding. It’s almost all family and everyone is married!

I always thought it was a bit cringe to be honest but I love traditions so I’d likely keep it.

Cancel. I'm not even going to have one. We don't have a lot of single men attending.

Cancel. I don’t like the history of that tradition, plus the dang thing is itchy. One more thing to worry about, no thanks.

Cancel. My FH has expressed that he didn't want to do it cause it would be too weird which I'm totally ok with.

Cancel. Seems a bit awkward having your family watch your FH go underneath your dress.
