Keep or Cancel: Matching Bridesmaids Dresses?

Cancel! It may be my FH and I’s day, but I want my bridesmaids to feel great in what they are wearing too! The only stipulation is the dress be black. Other than that, I told them to pick whatever style, length, etc. they feel good in. Same goes with hair- I can’t stand seeing a string of girls with matching hair dos! Each of my girls has their own personal style and I want them to show it!

Cancel! I wanted all the girls to pick something that best suited them. The only requirements I had were that they were the same color, length, and materials. I know they will all look beautiful together!

Not keeping! We want everyone to be comfortable in whatever they wear.

Only have a maid of honor, but if I didn’t I’d want them in different dresses! So that they can be told apart from one another.

A bit of both? they are all wearing the same color with v necks and princess seams but MoH is wearing a halter where the other 2 are wearing a tank style.

Cancel. Not every style looks good on all. Want them to feel comfortable and confident

I am having the same color and different styles! I also told my maids to wear their hair however they want too I don’t like it when everyone has their hair up or everyone has it down. I want them to wear what makes them feel their best!

Cancel. My girls are all wearing the same color by the same designer, but I let them all pick their own style. Since they have such different body types I was worried about trying to find one style that looked good on everyone. This way they all look cohesive, but are comfortable in a style that works for them

Cancel. It adds variety and helps make all the bridesmaids feel comfortable up in front of everyone. Not all body types are made for the same dresses, so different styles look better on different people!

Keep/Cancel! Keep the same color but allow the bridesmaids to get different styles because of the different shapes of each person. Some material isn’t flattering to certain shapes.

I'd say different but if a majority pick the same then go with the same...

I’m doing the same but was open to different dresses with same fabric/color/length- my bridesmaids all loved the same dress though!

Cancel, I am sticking with the same color scheme but I think each woman is shaped so differently and they feel confident in different cuts and style. My only requirement was that all were floor length. The bridesmaids will look better in photos and have more fun if they feel their absolute best!

I only have a MOH but if I had bridesmaids I would do same color but let them choose the style they feel most comfortable in.

Cancel. I wanted to do mismatch styles but the same colors. I did pick out about 10-15 dresses that I liked and I asked them to pick out their dress from there. I made sure that there was different styles for them to pick from. I wanted them to feel comfortable in it and that they looked good in it.

Keep - I have 7 women (too many opinions) - found nice dresses on Amazon for $40

Cancel. I have a MPH and a BM. I left the choices up to them. they know of the colors and between them, they will decide on there style and color. of course they are my sister and my daughter so it makes it easier to give them control over this.

Mine will all have the same dress and shoes... I am a Virgo... anything too mismatch will bother me lol

Keep, Mine wore the same dress (which was difficult because one lives 8hrs away)
I wanted something long, my sister wanted something she could wear again, and my friend wanted something that allowed her to wear a regular bra underneath. I think all 3 of us were happy with the dress. They both looked great!

Keep, I like the matching and traditional look.
