What's your vote on parent dances? Keep or cancel?

Hmmm. Haven't discussed it yet. They didn't do this at my fiances brothers wedding. And I think my father wouldn't mind skipping. I guess we will see.

I’m gonna say cancel. We are trying to not schedule a bunch of stuff for the reception but, I’m sure I’ll probably end up dancing with my dad at sometime during the reception. Just not an all eyes on us dance.

Keep, my dad would be heartbroken if we didn't have the father/daughter dance where they play Butterfly Kisses. I'm not happy about it, but it's a gift I can give to my dad since he's still getting used to me not being "his little girl" anymore. My fiancee will probably have a dance with his step-mom too.

Keep. I'm looking forward to this. I'm the last of three to get married and I know my dad is looking forward to this as well.

Definitely keeping the father/daughter dance, I think it's a special moment and I know my dad is looking forward to it. Plus, we'll get to go to dance classes together and then we get to spend more time together and bond Smiley smile

I’m dancing with my kiddos instead of a father/daughter dance. He’s still dancing with his mother.

Keep! I think father/daughter and mother/son dances are super special. I'm my dad's only daughter so it'll be the first one and only one he's had!

Cancel. Every time we think about parent dances, we just get so uncomfortable. Definitely getting skipped.

Keep! My dad and I have had our song picked out since I was little. FH's mom would probably freak out if she didn't get to dance with her only son at his wedding. She even wanted to walk him down the aisle..but FH had another plan for the processional.

Keep! I am super close with my parents and so is FH. We had those songs picked almost before our own first dance song.

I are cancelling. My FH doesnt want to dance with his mom because he doesn't like to be center of attention. Plus my dad and I aren't dancing.

We kept them but combined them together so people only had to sit through one song instead of two.

We're keeping! With all of these I say though, it depends! I'm not going to fault any couple for keeping or canceling any of them. For us I'm dancing with my dad and the rest of my family will join in, and then we will go straight into the hora from there, which is a nod to a "family dance" situation for my FH, who won't be dancing with his mom
