Keep or Cancel: Sleeping apart the night before the wedding?

Keep. I like the anticipations of him not seeing me until I walk down the aisle. Plus, I want some girls time while I'm getting ready and I'm sure he wants his bro time! lol

Keep! I'm more traditional and won't be staying with FH until after the wedding. I'll be spending the night before in a hotel with my bridesmaids, and FH will be staying at his parents' house (our venue is 10 minutes away from his parents' house and an hour and a half from the city we live in).

We’re keeping this tradition!! Plus it gives us some downtime to get some rest and prep for the next day!!

Cancel. We've lived together for 5years, no need for it.

We've lived together for years now. but for wedding purposes, Probably cancel, if our honeymoon plans pan out how we want it to, only makes sense to spend the night at a hotel, luggage and everything in tow.. then the wedding will take place, we go back to the hotel for one more night, then head off to the honeymoon the following day after the wedding.

Keep, you only get married once, and I would like my FH to miss me and be in awe when he sees me on the day of the wedding! I get to spend time with my girls while he stay at his dad's house. #39 days to go!

Keep !! He is staying at his best mans house and we are staying here at my house us girls ..girl time last min wedding preparing and then wake up and freak out for day of lol ...44 days and counting !

Keep. I like this tradition and I think it makes it so special when the first time my FH will see me on our wedding day is when I walk down the isle.

I wanted to stay apart but fiancé wants to stay together. We will already be away from home with multiple cabins rented for the wedding weekend, so it wouldn’t be inconvenient to stay apart. But I’m giving in and we are staying together.

I assumed we would stay together but FH suggested we sleep apart the night before.

Keep but only because I am having a girls night with my bridesmaids

Keep! It'll be easier for us to stay apart than most, since our wedding is in the morning :-)

Cancel. We are sleeping separately because everyone else thought we needed to, but if it were up to me I would've stayed in the same room.

Keep! I will be spending the night with my FSD and girls at the hotel where we will prep the next morning! FH will be home.

Keep, because I know it'll add to my nerves and I guess I'm a sadist, lol.

Not sure yet, FH wants to sleep together the night before,, he has a hard time sleeping when I am not in bed. But us girls will need to start getting ready at 930 and the venue is 45 minutes away so I may stay in our hotel the night before so the girls can meet there to get ready and it is only 10 mins away. We will see though, we still are 6 months out

Cancel we both want our own bed since we will spend the next week in hotels
