Keep. Were thinking traditional vows at the ceremony and a personal vow or letter to each other during the first look.

    Keep.
I think they are very powerful when you stop to think about them and I'm not sure I could write better!

Besides as I'm getting married in c of e church, I don't think you can legally write your own vows or anything.

I've got nothing against people writing their own vows but I've seen some where they tell about each other and love but don't really make any promises! Which I think kinda defeats the purpose! It's not a speech, you (can) do that at the reception.

I like both! We are doing traditional, but that's because we want it to go quick since we are nervous to stand in front of everyone. Plus, I would be bawling my eyes out Haha

I think even traditional vows can have a touch of personalization. Our officiant has a great set of vow options for us and they dont just feel like words. My fiance isnt great at coming up with his own so this worked for us.

Keep. I'm going to be a wreck without having to worry about my vows sounding corny/confused/flustered

Were going to have a mix of traditional and our own. I feel like it our wedding days and I want to jazz it up with something a little more personal than just the generic vows that almost everybody uses.

I honestly don’t care either way but FH wants to write our own vows and you’re not gonna see me argue.

Cancel I want him to hear ME, he won't be able to see me much longer (he's almost completely blind at 25). I don't want his memory to be of rehearsed vows I want them to be everything I love about him. There is no death do us part he is bound to me, no matter how many more lives we share.
