Honestly coming on this forum helps me. It keeps me brainstorming and maintaining my excitement. I had to postpone and I am trying to stay on top of the rest of the planning even tho it’s hard to do so with so many things being closed and those around not being in a celebratory mood.

Very true! I’m glad you’ve found some help in the forum! Since many places are closed I wonder if for now you can just map out a vision board or wedding art project or something that you can DIY for your special day!

We were pretty much 75 percent done planning until we had to postpone for another year! So now I’ll take a bit of a break and I’m trying to do small planning of things that may excite me a bit more like shopping for my bridal party gifts, putting photos together for wedding slide show, etc I even thought of subscribing for a bridal box to have something to look forward to!

That's awesome. That is a huge relief to have that much done. I hope do be that far done within the first 2 months everything opens up again. When you get the bridal box, post pics! I would love to see.

Thanks for posting this discussion. We've made the decision to postpone our June wedding, but are struggling in deciding between moving to August or next June. There's several issues with moving to the August date, but the thought of waiting a whole other year makes me want to say screw it all. One thought that has brightened the prospect of waiting until next year is the idea of taking a mini-moon or other special trip this year as a fun event to look forward to. We couldn't decide between a honeymoon to Hawaii or Germany, so postponing may give us an opportunity to do both. Interested in what others are doing!

Yeah! That was exactly my though process..delaying will allow traveling to be hopefully back to normal by that time. It will be very worth the wait when all this clears up. June/August are very popular months, if you have an available date at your venue lock it in sooner than later.

The silver lining for us was that exact thing as well! Being able to do a mini moon! And honeymoon right after wedding! We postponed until next year and found more positives in that. But see if you can put a soft hold on venue next year date while you decide
