Key West in October?

I used to live in south Miami Dade and spent quite a bit of time in Key West in October. It is very warm during the day and suitable for an outdoor wedding. Note, though, it is at the last stretch of hurricane season so it does rain more frequently during that time.

The weather is really nice, but Fantasy Fest is during October, towards the end. It can get a little crazy around that time.

It's hit or miss with hurricanes, so you never know. I shot a beautiful wedding in Islamorada at the Islamorada Fish Company...it was fabulous. It's not as far south as Key West, but had a very tropical feel to it.

Hi Shannon! This is too funny -- we're date twins and we're both getting married in New Jersey! AND -- My FH and I will probably take our honeymoon to Key West in October. My only hesitation is that it's supposed to be at the tail end of hurricane season. If we do book our HM to Key West, we'll definitely be getting cancellation insurance in case the weather is inclement.

Hi! That's nuts! We decided to go for it and just get the insurance! We are staying at the Southernmost House. If the weather is bad, we'll cancel and stay at the Jersey Shore! hah

We live here in Key West, Key West can be beautiful during October! And there are lots of activities, especially during Fantasy Fest! As long as we dodge the occasional Hurricane!
