Danielle, on July 12, 2022 at 1:21 AM Posted in Planning 2 11
I'm struggling with what to do for the kids tabor! Activities? Snacks? What are you all planning?

I bought little activity kits on amazon for the kida (scavenger hunt coloring book with crayons picture on the bag to color). I also am planning on buying a big roll of paper and covering one of the large circular tables we have at our venue with it for the kids to color/draw on. I am avoiding stickers and markers because we are in a historical building.

I think Nichole's suggestion of covering the tables with paper and providing crayons is a great idea. Maybe also something educational like a Newton's cradle.

I'm planning on creating coloring sheets by making 2D line art of things like my FW and I, our pets, etc. Then they can color in the pictures. And, if the kids wind up leaving their coloring sheets behind, I think those will be so cute to keep!

Great idea of covering tables in paper!

All good suggestions! I was thinking about favors too. Candy seems to be popular but I'm kinda a crunchy mom lol. The kids range from toddler to 10 years old so it's hard to think of stuff appropriate and interesting for all ages.

What about pretzels instead of candy? Maybe a puzzle would be fun.

Unique Pretzels is a good option. They're very tasty and have a variety of types and packaging. I don't know if they ship outside the US though.

I just looked them up! My wedding is in Ohio but I currently live in Cali. I'll order some for sure! I was also thinking it would be cute (from prior comment) to do a pirates booty treasure hunt and legit have a trunk hidden on the grounds with pirates booty popcorn and some fake coins and stuff. If I hide it well enough that will keep em busy and get them to play together for a while.

That's so cute! You could do the chocolate coins (is that what you meant?) The kids will love it!
