Kinda a silly question.. how are you serving water?

I don’t know what makes more sense.
Having water be served by our servers with pitchers. Or having it be self serve with one or two 32oz glass bottles of waters to a table.

I would have waitstaff with pitchers, personally. It's less likely to get spilled and there will be more available for people who might go through a lot of water at dinner.

We have 2 waiters per table who will be there to constantly fill glasses.

Our venue is providing all of our drinks, but I believe the servers are filling the glasses initially and then leaving pitchers. We're still so far out that we haven't had the formal discussion about service with our venue's catering team.

We are having a taco station so our guests will be going up and grabbing their food (sort of like a buffest style, but someone will be serving their food). We are going to have servers go around with pitchers and serve our guests - just so guests have one less thing to worry about/get up for.

But really, I don't think there's a right or wrong way to do it.
