Does anyone have one and use it regularly? Is it worth it for the price? Are they relatively easy to use?

For people with messier hand writing, the newer cricuts have a draw or write option. We're using that for a lot of signage. FH wants to use it after the wedding to potentially sell stuff on etsy. It takes a bit to learn to use, but it's really awesome if you're crafty.

Just got the new cricut a few weeks ago. I finally get a day off and I'm so excited to use it. I went to a local print sign shop and they gave me some scrap vinyl to practice with, for free!

I love my cricut! I made my table numbers using gold vinyl. I'd post more pictures but on mobile so can't post them all in one comment

I'm a Silhouette user and love mine. I would recommend getting it if you plan to utilize it after the wedding. Mine makes me an additional $10-15k/yr via stuff I make and sell with it (and my heat press).

Here are the things I've done for my wedding so far with mine:

I just got mine and still have so much to learn but last night I made this sign and I'm super happy with it. Cricut is a huge investment. I don't know if it's totally worth it money wise to just use it for a wedding but it's worth it to me because I really enjoy doing it. It's a great hobby and I will use it for stuff other than the wedding as well. If you have the money and you like crafts then I say do it. It's fun making things to display in your wedding or your home. It has more meaning.

I also made these cups for part of my bridesmaids gifts. I will also be making them bridesmaid shirts and a personalized tote bag as well once I learn to do iron on!! The possibilities for homemade gifts are endless!!!

@Kelsey those are amazing! where do you buy the sweatshirts/shirts, etc.? I'd love to find a place that sells cheap stuff for me to design!

I used to work at Michaels and I remember how popular these machines were (and how pricey). I think that if you think you will use it after the wedding, then it would be worth it. I can't say it'd be worth the cost to me if it was only used for wedding related things.

I really depends on what use you will get out of it once your wedding is over. I don't think it is worth it to buy one just for your wedding. I am on my third Cricut (the other two are still going strong, I just like to have the new one) and I love it as much as I ever did. I like to craft so I found it to be useful all the time.

There is a bit of a learning curve, though, so you will have to take a while to figure out how to get exactly what you want. Fortunately, there are a lot of youtube videos that will walk you through the process. You will also likely waste a lot of materials trying to get things arranged properly. I have made invitations and decorations for two weddings, but I won't be doing my own. The process is fun, but it is also time-consuming.
