KWR: Thinking of starting a cake topper business on etsy. Updated for another similar question

I've been made several cake toppers and really enjoy doing it and making personalized people (I've made ones that look like Marissa-in-love's cake topper...https://www.weddingwire.com/wedding-forums/we-got-our-cake-topper/80c2bc62b446dc18.html) And I also like making animals.

I'm trying to think of most popular animals to have. I know owls and hedgehogs, cats, dogs, "love birds"

Feel free to also include your cake toppers for inspiration.

Haha, glad you like them! I love making them and that's why I was considering opening a little shop. I was just scared they weren't nice looking enough for people to want to buy

Those are so cute! You totally should open up a shop! I would suggest penguins, they're my favorite! I think other sea creatures like dolphins, whales, and turtles would be cute!

School mascots are always good. A friend of mine had Jayhawk toppers (ROCK CHALK!) and they were adorable!

In terms of animals, I'm pretty excited about my mallard duck cake topper. Me and my other half used to enjoy watching ducks on or dailywalks

I have an Etsy shop. Just be aware that it is A LOT of work. I thought it would just be something fun to do on the side, but I wouldn't be able to have a job and do it because there are so many orders.
