Our wedding date is 9/4/2021 and I feel like time is flying! How are you brides feeling about your September wedding and COVID-19? Our Oklahoma venue still has capacity limits set and is only offering buffet options instead of plated (soooo frustrating as plated was one main reason we booked them!). Our DOC through our venue is amazing, but we just keep getting the "hopefully the restrictions will lift before then" response and no actual confirmation on how we should plan our menu or invites. Have any of you made a game plan on how to cut your guest list if you must? We invited 230 guest for our original 3/20/2021 date and I'd hate to have to come back and say "sorry you can't come anymore...." to 80 people we already sent STD's to.

That's our wedding date too! Postponed from 9/5/20.

All of the older people in our families have been fully vaccinated and our state is opening vaccines up to everyone this week, so we're hopeful! There are still capacity limits and social distancing requirements at our venue, but we're pretty sure we'll be able to invite our full guest list regardless by September. Cautiously moving forward!

9/5/21 Soo excited!!! Our guest list is under the capacity of our venue with some restrictions still in place . We aren’t worried!! It has new ventilation systems indoors and large outdoor space! We booked our venue yesterday, been engaged for a week, and have a whirlwind of planning to get through before September 5th. 125 days and counting!! So excited we were able to find a space we loved so soon.

Our wedding is on 9/5/2021! It’ll be here sooner than we know it. I’m in Cali and restrictions have been lifted (not completely but just about). Our venue is outdoors which makes it a lot more accommodating for our guests and puts some ease on this Covid. Despite the pandemic we’re hopeful that our wedding day will everything we(I) dreamed of! Countdown in full effect!

Our wedding is 9/4/21 in Michigan. We still have COVID restrictions so we decided to do a backyard wedding and a reception at a private owned club (so it wouldn't get cancelled). Keeping the numbers down is difficult. The last couple weeks I felt like I had nothing to do and now I feel like time is flying and there's so much to do. With working nonstop overtime it makes it difficult to have time to do things and create things for the wedding.

Our wedding is also Septemeber 4! We're feeling pretty good, not many restrictions here in Miami and as of July 1 all local ordinances will be lifted so it will be up to the venue to decide whether they will require masks and any restrictions on guest limit. We had to cut down our list before save the dates and invites were sent out but we have a B List and extra invites so if anyone says they can't come or the venue lifts some restrictions we can invite others we would have originally wanted there. Definitely feels like time is flying by! Almost 3 months out!

If their holiday weekend was more important than attending your "once in a lifetime" marriage...then i wouldn't want them there anyways. remember to enjoy your day, its easy to get bummed out but just remember this is you and your mans day!!!

Our wedding date is September 6th, 2021! We took a different route and only invited 30 guests. Which isn't bad! I am an introvert anyways. Lol I also saved A LOT of money during this journey! I hope all of you other brides are doing well and enjoying your time planning! Our times will be here before we know it!

We are getting married on September 5, things are starting to come together and we are so excited that all restrictions and Michigan have been lifted. We are just getting ready to send out our final invitations, so happy we can send it to all 135 guests! We picked a venue so we can have indoor and outdoor options. We are also relieved that there are no longer restrictions with serving food and can have the food stations we planned, for a strolling dinner. We are including a note in the invitations, requesting people to be vaccinated or wear masks. What are others doing to address Covid vaccines?
