Ladies who've done their own wedding hair & makeup - what advice would you give?

Hi Ladies! I'm about 80 days out from my wedding and debating on whether I should do my own hair and makeup. I know if I wanted to book a MUA by some of the other discussions I've read I should be in danger (lol) but I'm not too worried with my makeup as I tend to wear a full face every day and i'm by no means an expert but I do feel I do it well. I just plan on making it more bold as i really want it to show in photos.

For my hair I do plan on using some of my hair extensions; I'm just wondering if any of you have done similar type hairstyles on your own and they came out beautifully. I'm not as good with my hair as I am with my makeup.

I used Milk & Blush clip in extensions, and they were great. I didn't do my own hair though. Could you hire someone to just do your hair?

Yeah my hairdresser and I have discussed it so right now she is the primary one who would be doing my hair. I just wasn't sure how easy and successful it has been for those who've done their own hair for their wedding.

Oh thank you! I just bought some extra fluffy set of faux lashes that I plan on using. The only thing I’ll need help with is my hair because I am just not good at doing anything more than a basic style 🙈
