Large Guest Count At the Waterside In North Bergen

Hi Everyone!

I'm about to visit the Waterside in North Bergen. It was one of the first venues that I fell in love with and once I go visit I will get a better feel. However has anyone had a wedding of 200 people here? I talked to someone at the venue and they told me max capacity was 240. From the pictures it looks small but I was trying to see if others had any experiences with large parties here. Thank you all in advance!

    This has nothing to do with what you posted....I had to do a double take because I thought it was titled large amount of guests came to the water slide. I guess That’s what i get for scrolling quickly 🤣 I was like oh a water slide at a wedding that’s unique lol

    Waterside Restaurant & Catering looks like a gorgeous venue! That city view !! I’m obsessed!

    It has amazing reviews from previous couples!

    According to their WeddingWire storefront, they can accommodate up to 225. You can totally address any concerns about capacity at your viewing Smiley smile

    Are you from NJ? Or are you planning the wedding from a distance?

    Thank you so much for the welcome and advice! We are touring the venue this week but just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with it as even though some venues can accommodate a certain amount of people guests still might feel a little snug.

    Waterside is gorgeous. At over 200 it might get a little crowded but the views are incredible. In case that doesnt work out try the chart house in weehawken or maybe the palisadium in cliffside park. They offer the same nyc views as well and the food is awesome. I just got an email for the palisadium at $85pp if you book jan, feb, or march of 2020 which is a bargain in that area.
