Last Minute Advice

Izzykern, on April 13, 2021 at 7:19 AM Posted in Planning 0 7
We are officially 8 days out and I’m looking for last minute advice! What is some of the best advice your family/friends have you leading up to the big day? Any little details that you thought were very important for you? TIA ❤️

Yay, only 8 more days! That’s so exciting! The biggest advice I can give is to take this week to relax as much as you can, get plenty of sleep and be prepared to take it all in. So many brides spend that last week running around, not getting much sleep and by the time the big day comes you’re tired and you miss out on all the little things. Soak it all in and enjoy every minute of it. Congratulations and can’t wait to see pictures.

Congratulations! This is such an exciting time. I agree with Cyndy. In addition to that, the best advice I received was to find a place for a brief moment alone before the ceremony just to soak it all in.

Congratulations!! That is so exciting!!! I can only imagine your growing nerves of excitement each day! I agree that you should try to get as much rest as possible. Drink lots of water. If you do yoga or meditate, definitely be consistent on that this week. Also, I would suggest securing the mindset right now that things will probably go wrong on your wedding day. Whatever those things are, don’t stress and just roll with it!

Congrats! If I had advice for the day of just take it all in. Spend some time alone on the day to deep breathe and make sure your Photograpgher gets photos of you & your mom if she is still with you and you have a close relationship. I thought they would be an obvious on my wedding day but, I only have a few posed photos... get some getting ready pics with her. If people offer to do things for you ... let them do it lol wether it’s setting up, getting you a drink, food, running and getting something last minute... really lean on people and try and make this day about you and your husband as much as
    You can!

Now is the time to not just relax, but to ... let go.

Your vendors are hired. Your details are set.

Everyone is going to do what you paid them for, or you can ask for your money back AFTER the wedding.

Day of? Just breathe, enjoy, and *don't stress about things*. Why? Because no one is going to know anything has gone awry except you!

I say go on a date with you FH. Go to coffee with you mom/sisters/girlfriends (your choice obviously😆) try not to talk about your wedding too much during these times. Just soak up the love from people around you helping you.
    It will be amazing. ♥️

    Hello

The biggest advice I can give is don't prioritize things that people won't even remember.

It might be a little late for that though.
