So.....I just need to vent for a second...
Rewind to 5 months ago - beginning of wedding planning. We needed to find a bartender and they had to be RAMP certified and Insured. My fiance knew bartenders from his bouncing days and asked some of his friends and told them the requirements. His one friend was good to go and also told us that he bar-tended a wedding that the venue before...all good right? WRONG.
Last night we had our final meeting with the venue and everything was great! I asked her when we needed to get the bartenders certification and insurance information so my fiance texted him and told him when we needed it by and that he can give it to us or e-mail it to the day of coordinator and gave him the email address.....his response......."I need insurance?" ARE YOU KIDDING ME? We have 30 days until the wedding and you just now realize you don't meet the requirements we told you?
In hind sight I should have asked to see his certifications and everything when he agreed to bar-tend for us- but I didn't think he would lie about this to a friend and I didn't think he would lie about bar-tending there before?
I know that I can find a bartender in 30 days I am just really upset that I even have to worry about this now....along with everything else.
Sorry for the long vent/rant. I just needed to get this out.
