After spending days choosing an outfit for our engagement shoot, I landed on my usual style: high waisted jeans, a tucked-in cashmere sweater, & a belt. In the past few days, I've seen a sudden influx of "high-waisted pants are horrible & hideous" posts on my social media feeds, & I also can't find many examples of real people wearing high-waisted jeans in engagement photos! I'm suddenly feeling super anxious & self-conscious; our engagement shoot was an additional cost & I don't want to feel like I've wasted money by choosing a bad outfit.
At this point, I don't want to change my outfit plans (shoot is tomorrow) & am just looking for reassurance & examples: Did anyone wear high-waisted jeans/pants in their engagement photos that they could share? It definitely seems to be a less common choice!
On top of that--any tips for relaxing & having fun during the shoot?
