Last minute photography timeline help!!

M, on May 19, 2024 at 6:46 PM Posted in Planning 0 3
Hi, my friend is getting married in two weeks and I’m stepping in to help create a timeline for the day. It is proving to be a bit of a challenge, because all her vendors are booked and their individual timelines are set. The photographer is booked for seven hours, the bride and groom are getting ready at two different locations, there is a Catholic mass with an hour between the ceremony and reception, and we have a large bridal party (16 total). How do we make time for all of the important photos? Please help!

They should plan to take the bulk of their photos during the hour-gap and cocktail hour. That should be plenty of time for posed photos.

The photographer should be helping them with the timeline as that is their job description. They need to communicate with the photographer immediately.

Why is the photographer not helping create the timeline? Is it a newer photographer or not a professional photographer because our photographer created our photography timeline for us since they knew how long to prepare.
