I am April 23rd. I spent the day working on floral details, venue details and DOC details. We finished officiant information, booked hotels and stamped the invites. Really we don't have much left besides dress Alterations, final details and making sure all vendors are ready to go!!

I’m May 3rd! I’m waiting on seating chart and finalizing menu and day of time line but already have jewelry and my first dress fitting in a couple weeks! Boys have all their clothes picked out but haven’t ordered.

Omg Maggie, we're date twins! My list is basically exactly the same except transportation and HMU trails (I did those a few months ago). I am super nervous, but really excited at the same time. However, whenever I hear someone say 2020 lately I feel a bead of sweat running down my face 😂

Omg, I know the feeling!!! I start twitching!
And for transportation, we have to wait til like 2 weeks before because we’re giving people Uber gift cards- this way people can decide when they want to leave and where they want to go.
Hair and make up I’m doing this month or in March, I know what I want and it’s not a hard thing and I’ve gone there before for hair and make up for other events. What made you choose 4.26?

Wow! Uber gift cards is a good idea, I like that! It's a great thing that you already know your HMU artist's work, it's so nerve racking when you don't lol. Well, the 26th was not the date we were originally going for. I wanted a late spring/summer wedding, but the price per person at my venue is astronomical. The Director told me if I considered late April I would save thousands at the end and if I went with a Sunday even more. They had only one date left which was 4/26/20 and I said sold lol.
What about you? Also, are you giving out favors?

    I’m 4/25 and so excited!

I still have to:Buy gifts for MOH, BM, my parents, my FH’s mom, my FH. Makeup and hair trial.Finish putting together favors (making coasters; need to add cork to tiles). Buy donuts (not doing a cake; getting donuts from famous local donut place. Have to order a month in advance). Make donut wall. Make signs (guests have to walk thru Botanic Gardens to get to ceremony). Buy ceremony programs. Choose table linens (original linens chosen when I had a different centerpiece in mind). Buy wedding shoes and hair comb. Send invites. Oy so much...

Very similar situation except we wanted April and we wanted something close to April 24th.
First kiss 2.24 first date 7.23 official 10.24 engaged 2.24 so 24 is a big deal for us, but we both wanted an April wedding because hems a teacher- this way we can do something close to our anniversary each year for spring break time. Sunday worked out best because 1. Super cheap- it’s the last weekend of April so it’s peak weather with off peak prices. Also, if we went with 4.26 we got to pick the time of day and which rooms (we’re getting married at a hall type place so they have 2 cocktail hour rooms, 1 outdoor ceremony space and 2 indoor ceremony spaces/ reception areas). Also, I have my bridal party spread tf out, this way they don’t have to miss work unless they want to.

Since our first date incl my first time having an Auntie Anne’s pretzel and we’re getting married on national pretzel day we’re doing soft pretzels and water bottles as our favor with a sparkler send off at the end

Omg, you reminded me of parent gifts!!! My Fh and I agreed on no gift exchange but a letter exchange that we read on the day of. I love the idea of a donut wall but how exactly does one set that up?

Aww! I see why that weekend meant a lot. I'm glad that you were able to get it! I love how everything has some type of sentimental meaning! The pretzels is a really cute idea!

4/4/2020 and I'm freaking out. I'm second guessing my venue last min. I really want to elope but hes not having it! So my nerves are sky high ! I still dont know what to do for food. He wants to cook out and since its inky family that would be fine but we have a large immediate family so one hell be cooking all night and two when do we do pictures if hes cooking ? So many questions ! Then my mother just moved to Texas thanksgiving and the problem with that is I live in tennessee and that's all my bridal party ! So they have to come prepared and I have no idea what anyone will be wearing ! Just that they will be wearing Pink that color she chose. ( we let her choose the color because honestly we dont know how much longer we have with her , she just finished chemo and thinks it might haf came back) and pink works for us because his mother died of breast cancer so I'll ne putting little pink ribbons on the bouquets and a few other small things to honor his mother. He also suggested asking everyone you bring something and his family is ok with that. hes Asian and they always do this and see nothing wrong with it but me I think its rude to ask guest to bring food , family or not ! Also my family does mot cook lol we suck at it ! But other then that I pretty much have everything done as far as booking everything and decor even have the invites stamped and ready to send out when the time comes !
I dont have my bouquet yet or shoes for the boys.
