Hello! My wedding is about 2 weeks away and I really want to do a late night snack. I think they are fun and just another added touch of personalization.

But I went super heavy on Appetizers.. Sweet & Sour Meatballs, Veggies with dip & hummus, broccoli & cheese soup, cheese and crackers.

Dinner is your typical wedding food dinner, chicken, pasta salad.

Dessert is Wedding Cake and Pie

For a late night snack I want to do a Nacho Bar. with Chips, salsa, shredded cheese, jalapenos, black olives & lettuce.

I am on the fence.. tell me your pros and cons of a late night snack?

We ordered pizzas and it was a huge hit! I would definitely do that over DIY nachos. Everyone loves pizza, and then you won't have to worry about any setup other than having plates and napkins available.

ETA: I think nachos would be too messy for a late night snack. People want something they can easily grab in between dance breaks Smiley smile

Definitely only do it if you use a professional. We did a Mcdonald's exit station the last half hour and it was a huge hit. The venue and hotel weren't near any late night food options and this was perfect for guests to grab and go with their Mcdonald's bags lol

No to diying it. It is dangerous, people could get sick. Just have your caterer do it.

I would do something you do not have to cook. Pizza sounds amazing if you are looking for more snack option maybe small popcorn bags or chips and salsa.

The only reason we are doing one is because it was included in our package. Otherwise I think it can be a bit much because I just ate a whole dinner and desert an hour and a half prior.

    ETA: doing pizza as well

What time does the venue close for the night? If you need to be out by 12 o'clock I would forget the late night snack.

LOVE the late night snack idea and nachos are perfect. We're doing smores and a candy apple station.
