Has anyone ever had a late night snack at their wedding - something at the end of the night? Has anyone ever had a late night snack at their wedding - something at the end of the night? I really wanted tacos for our wedding food and that's not going to work out, but now I am thinking it would be fun if someone picked up a bunch of tacos at taco bell or something and bring them out to us towards the end of the night. I wonder if the venue would even allow it. I have seen a few other venues that offer something like this - sliders or something later in the night. Just wondering if anyone has ever been to a wedding that did this - did you even want food at that point in the night?

We made tacos for late night snacks at my sister's wedding - but there were only about 20 people left so it was pretty easy to do.

At my wedding, we had coffee, cake and leftovers from dinner for those who stayed to celebrate with us after most everyone else had gone.

Yes we did this and it was a HUGE hit. We did Gourmet French Fries, Mini CheeseSteaks & Mini Soft Pretzels.

Great ideas. I might contact the venue about this and see. My venue is part of a college, and we can rent out the old dorm rooms to stay, so I think a lot of people will be doing that, even those who don't live too far away. And there is a little hospitality room in there and he said most people will continue the party in there if they are using the dorms. So my thought is that even if we can't order food from outside to the actual venue, we might be able to have something delivered to the dorm area for the after party.

We had sliders and caramel popcorn. They were a huge hit. But yeah, check with the venue. We didn't even get charged for the late night snack :-)

My caterer doesn't not offer these late night snacks but I am still interested in having them! Does anyone have any recommendations on how to do this? My reception is in northeast philadelphia!

We're planning to have the Waffle House food truck show up around 9:30, and serve until 12am with coffee, OJ, and a hashbrown bar. We've debated doing waffles as well... but don't want to get too carried away (or maybe I do, I don't know haha). I think our biggest concern is figuring out how many servings to pre pay for..... you never know how many people will stay and party late.
