Vogue magazine has compiled a list of what they see as this year’s trends and things that are outdated. Which ones are you planning to include in your wedding?

Themed parties
Silver touches
Wallpaper accents
Serious wedding guest style
Big blowout weddings
Virtual save the dates
Technicolor schemes
Open air tents
Multiple and specialty bars
Hanging florals
Art inspired design
The long wedding weekend



Out:
Family style meals
Twinkle light ceilings
Multiple toasts at the reception
Monogrammed dance floors
Muted color schemes
Overly packed welcome bags

    Interesting. This is VERY different from all the “in & out” wedding lists I’ve seen for 2022. We’re pretty on par for all the other ones I’ve seen, but definitely not this one. The only thing we are doing on this list is a long wedding weekend (because it’s a destination wedding).

    I read that article too. Some of the things seem ridiculous, especially the note under toasts that says the only people who should give speeches at the reception (and yes they use that word) are the groom, best man and father of the bride. Three speeches is still a lot, and why so sexist??

    We will likely have toasts/speeches, but nothing else on the in/out list.

    Well, I don't have anything on the "out" list. But a lot of the stuff on the "in" list I'm not even sure what it means. I'm gonna have 160 guests, does that count as a "big blowout wedding"? LOL
