Hi, everyone! I’m getting married in 69 days (eep!) and we’re still looking for ties for the groom, groomsmen and bridesman. The men will be wearing navy suits and the girls will be wearing lavender haze dresses—all different styles. Both color swatches are from David’s Bridal. I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with these two particular colors and what color tie they would recommend? The purple is very particular; it looks grayish on its own but then when compared to gray, it looks more purple. There was an Etsy shop that had ties with the same swatch at a 90% match rate, but they’re currently closed for a bit so I’m trying to find a back up plan. Any help/leads are appreciated. TIA! 🤗

The Tie Bar has colors that are meant to match multiple big retailers, like David's Bridal. You could try there? I also think David's has a partnership with The Black Tux so maybe they have ties to match?

You could also have them wear white/cream ties if you are unable to match the specific shade of purple. Sounds like matching the purple is your first choice but this might be a good backup option.

Depends on your preference but I think it looks nice. I probably wouldn't recommend it if they were wearing black suits.

Someone just mentioned The Knotty Tie on another post and I checked and they do match to your color! They do custom patterned ties but I believe they do solid ones as well.

I just looked and the color match chart mentions David’s Bridal, but the neckties on the website that I see are matched to Azazie. Am I missing something?

If you go to solid color ties, there's a custom tie option and the colors they have for you to choose from include it. You can filter colors from different brands.
