Lazy about church decorations

I'm getting married to Mr. Traditional, so it will take place in a Church. I had originally planned on not decorating it at all, but now I'm wondering if I should. Anybody else leave the church unadorned?

We're not doing much, the church is gorgeous but I found pew bows at the dollar store (2 for $1!) and will add some tulle and flowers to jazz them up. The priest said they could order their Sunday flowers a day early for our wedding so we'll have those too!

I've been contemplating not doing any decorations in the church. I met with the florist and she suggested a couple of roses tied together on end of pews but that's it. Everything else will be drowned out by the size of the church, so that's all we are doing.

Baby breath and Italian Ruscus on the pews. That's it. The church is beautiful without added flowers.

I am most likely leaving the church undecorated! It's pretty ornate how it is, and if I get really inspire, maybeeeeee I'll make a few pew bows, but other than that, I'm saving myself the money.

This is my church. I have fabric to drape on the cross and will be putting babies breath to reserve the pews for our immediate family.

ETA: I think simple decorations is fine. Especially if it'll be a short ceremony. If it is longer (like a catholic mass) they are usually pretty ornate already except for the pews

I don't think I'm going to. My mom was very insistent on pew bows at first, but then I brought up the logistics of having to go set them up and take them down after my wedding (we're getting married in a Catholic church, so there's a regular Saturday mass shortly after our wedding). That made us less inclined to do anything (I'm also not a huge fan of the bows anyway!) Luckily, I think our church is quite beautiful on its own.

Altar flowers- they'll show in your pics. But I wouldn't spend too much decorating anything that won't show up in pictures, IMO!
