Leaning tapers

My tapers don’t fit snuggly enough in some of my candle holders. I won’t have time to melt the wax in the bottom of the holder to help them stick the day of the wedding. Does anyone have other suggestions for a quick fix?

I prefer to do whatever needs to be done ahead of wedding week.

I use napkin/paper towel around the bottom to make it thicker. Otherwise you can just melt them a few days before the wedding.
