Do you have a preference or does your venue have a fire code restriction on the type used?

100% prefer real flame over LEDs. Real candlelight is just so soft and romantic 💕 I know some people don’t mind LED lights, but they just feel harsh and artificial to me ( I am also a HUGE lighting person though- even in our home and yard). I specifically chose a venue that would allow candles, and wouldn’t require LEDs.

Our venue allowed real candles. I bought some beautiful votive holders online and various fruity scented candles from bath and body works. They were romantic and smelled so good.

Real candles not allowed Smiley winking I bought the flickering flame votives, so a bit softer than just the LED kind. I also got those tiny battery operated string lights to put inside colored mason jars. All of the centerpiece items sit on a mirror round, so hoping that will add to the softer look (with the reflection)

We're not allowed real candles, but I'd go with LED even if we were. I'd be so worried about someone knocking a candle down after too much to drink.
