What do you think, tacky or classy?

Bachelorette parties are typically naughty and tacky aren't they? If gay women can drink out of penis straws at a straight bachelorette, why can't a straight woman eat bikini or vagina shaped cake at a lesbian bachelorette?


I'd ask the bride what she prefers, because some people get embarrassed about sexually explicit items, regardless of orientation.

This depends more of the specific people than their sexual orientation. I know plenty of hetero women who do not want penis straws at their Bach party. What type people are they?

I think it's a know your bride/crowd type of thing. I personally don't want any phallic imagery during my bachelorette party. Idk if this makes a difference, but I'm bisexual and I wouldn't want a naughty party no matter what the gender of my partner was. My MOH knows this and I truly hope she doesn't disregard it. The bachelorette party I am attending this month we are including two small penis-shaped things - one is mixed in with some confetti and the MOH who is the bride's sister may possibly get some cookies made. Other than that we are focusing on another theme. If you do include anything like that I'd keep it to a minimum, but that's just my personal preference.

They are awesome, both ladies are in the Army, which makes me think we are good to get a little naughty.

Yeah, it's totally a know their taste thing. Now, I was in the Army and would NOT have liked the naughty stuff, but you know them better!

I think this depends very heavily on the personality of the bride. Personally, anything related to genitalia wouldn’t be my style. I find it kind of cringey. But I’m also not interested in having a bachelorette party. I think when in doubt, just ask the bride.
