You ladies all look so beautiful!

I've been so nervous about this part of the wedding planning! I have always been around a street 8/10, and curvy, but very comfortable. Since my FH and I have been together, I have gone up to a 12/14. (we LOVE cooking and eating out and drinking good wine...great for bonding, bad for waistline). I found a place in DC (Cherry Blossom bridal, if anyone is interested) that specializes in plus size dresses (sizes 14-22) and went on my own for a silhouette apt..just me and the consultant, 45 minutes to get an idea. It was AMAZING. I feel so much better about the whole process, and just being able to put a dress fully on felt great. I made my full apt for the Fall and will go back with my mom and girls. If anyone is in the DC/MD/VA area, I highly recommend going to this store.

I was so nervous! I put off dress shopping for as long as possible lol. I'm a size 17/18 maybe a 16 - I've lost some weight and idk at this point. I have my first fitting Tuesday and I'm still a little nervous haha. Love my dress though. It ended up being a fun experience. Good luck!

My dress was $275 plus shipping. There was an extra cost of $20 for size. My budget was $500

This isn't the finale yet, I'm adding my own embroidery and adjusting the lace at the bottom because I don't like the at the bottom ends. Will have a finale pic soon! And that's my MOH..

I don't have a pic of me in my dress but I just want to say everyone looks so great! The dresses are quite amazing!

Dressing my body was a crazy point of stress, possibly the most stressful of all. I don't really love pictures of me in it but I felt amazing on my wedding day! It is DB size 24 and I felt amazing in it!

You can't tell that well but it's blush! It's a tight size 22 and I'm generally an 18/20

You ladies all look gorgeous! I'm dying over some of them and how lovely your shapes look. This thread really demonstrates how important proper tailoring is too- so much nicer imo than modern "swing" styles

This is my Mori Lee. It's so comfortable! I'm considering shapewear because of my stomach, but I don't think it would work with the low back. Time to get back into Zumba!

This is my dress I found at a cute bridal shop on a wimp and came acrossed it while out of town and there it was, THE dress! I'm a size 12. And this is a size 16 dress. Fits me absolutely perfectly. Just need the length hemmed.
