I had my very first successful alterations appointment on Tuesday. [THANK YOU 2ND BRIDE FOR YOUR RECOMMENDATION!!!] Surprisingly, it was the very first time I had ever looked at, or even thought about a bustle. My wedding gown is quite simple so I had a difficult time deciding on something I liked. If I was crazy I’d just take scissors and cut off the train after the ceremony! I haven’t seen too many posts on WW regarding the different types so I thought this would be a good post to see what everyone else plans to do.
As we all probably know, Bustles are used to lift the long trains of wedding gowns off the floor. Typically it’s lifted with buttons, pearls or ties (ribbon in my case) to create a style that’s practical. There are different types of bustle options. What type are you planning on getting?
