FH is choosing the reception music, and we've generally agreed on everything else.

Mom/Son group dance (since it was my sons and DH's mom) - "Come & Get Your Love" - Redbone. We all love Guardians of the Galaxy and that song opened the movie with a funny bit, so we wanted it incorporated. Ha!

Cake cutting - "Grow Old With You" Adam Sandler from the Wedding Singer

Last Dance - "She" Elvis Costello.

We didn't have a garter/bouquet toss

Cocktail music was a compilation of various songs that DH and I had traded over the years. We used instrumental and vocal versions and loaded them on the thumb drive for the DJ to play.

Bunny, I love that Frank Sinatra song. I wanted it for my first dance at my first wedding but was talked out of it due to the lyrics. But I did have engraved in his ring All my tomorrows belong to you. @KimS I am debating between She and Someone like you by Van Morrison for the last dance

Kimikat - we didn't even really plan a "last dance". It was the end of the night and that's what DH wanted played. He loves the last verses of the song.

Skittles - Google instrumental versions and then see if you can find them on Amazon - they have mp3s you can purchase. However, if you find a nice clean copy of a song you like on YouTube, there are YT to mp3 converters you can use to rip the songs. :-)

KimS - will do! I'm limited to my phone atm, so I'll google in a minute or so for the songs I want!

Entrance - Don't know yet, I'm letting FI have a say in this one

First Dance - I'm leaning toward either "I Saw a Light" by The Band Perry or "Love Will Keep Us Alive" by The Eagles. Still waiting on FI to chime in, though.

Father/Daughter - "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac

Mother/Son - Don't know yet (are we sensing a pattern?)

Cake Cutting - "Anything For You" by Ludo (this is actually my favorite love song, but would not work for a first dance song, so I'm using it here).

Not doing a bouquet/garter toss. We will probably instead do a "Longest Couples" dance (not sure what those are actually called). Haven't chosen the song yet. Also not sure if we're designating a "Last Dance" song. Will have to discuss with FI...
