Let's talk about the oddest things you put on your registry!

Mine would probably be the brûlée torch we asked for lol. My uncle got it for us but commented on it being odd. Crème brûlée is my husband's favorite dessert and I wanted the tools to make it, although I'll admit I haven't yet lol.

We are still going back and forth about if we even want to do a registry or not, but i have a “wish list” going on amazon that has all the pieces or the Willow Tree Nativity set on there and 14 k white gold earring hooks for me since i am allergic to sterling silver and other cheap metal in earrings so i am trying to replace all the “hooks that go in my ear” pieces to my earrings,.... also a dyson hot/cold air purifier on there too

This wasn’t my wedding but a friend’s two years ago. They had an axe on their registry! I thought it was so funny, obviously that is what I bought them haha. Then quarantine hit and they told me they put it to good use with yard projects. 😂

We also had a drill on our registry (and got it)! We also put on a couple different kinds of candy, just to see what happened (3 Musketeers for me, Take 5 for him) - someone gave us one at the shower and the other at the wedding lol.

My husband put a bat house on there... Im like oh noo. I guess it helps with mosquitoes so i wont mind it now as long as they stay far away

Fireproof safe.
Husband put a collection of classic monster movies on there (I ended up buying for him when it recently went on sale).

My husband put a poop emoji plunger on ours 🤦‍♀️ No one got it for us. Ours consisted of pretty typical stuff.

Years ago a friend’s daughter had one of thos cartoon bathroom sets - shower curtain, soap dispenser, etc - of Scooby Doo. I bought it for them, it was hilarious!

My friends definitely had a squatty potty on their list.

If you feel something is useful, then it's not odd. The registry doesn't have to be solely towels and dishes.


One friend put camping equipment on their registry since it's what they enjoy and another put a Margaritaville blender and tools. Nothing strange about those.

I think our most oddball item would be a cat tree. We've got a barn cat that is going to have to deal with being an indoor cat for a few weeks when we move in together. However, the apartment we're moving into doesn't have a TP holder in the master bath, so I'm considering adding a completely ridiculous one to the registry. This is my current inspiration for that:

We put an inversion table on our registry. Future hubby's BIL has one and he tried it out while we were visiting one day and he loved it. I don't think anyone will actually get it for us but we thought it would be fun to put it on the list anyway.

A few years ago when my best friend got married, she put some sort of cat capsule that you suction-cup onto a glass door and the cat can climb in and lounge and watch what's going on outside. I bought it for her because a) it was within my meager budget at the time and b) I didn't think her more traditional relatives would get it for her. She thanked me for getting it because she had really wanted it for her cats and sent me pictures of them in it. I followed this up at her baby shower by buying every cat-themed item on her registry and putting it together in a basket.

We're not having a registry but my sister and BIL registered for a hatchet and a shower curtain liner.

Believe it or not: my FW's cousin registered for a beer pong table, some LAY'S and sex toys. What a weirdo LOL.
