Let’s talk boobies!

cdelray, on February 3, 2020 at 1:54 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 2 14
Hi ladies!!

I need help with my boobies Smiley smile .. lol My dress does not have any support nor can it be altered in a way to add more support (it is super delicate so if she took the shoulders in more than she already is, it could cause a tear). She suggested boob tape to give me that little extra lift we are looking for. The issue lies in that if we don’t have the extra lift, my boobs create a crease in the breast area (showing where they naturally fall). I am a 34D with some dense tatas 😅. I have tried two different kinds of tape off amazon. She suggested looking for tape around $30-35 but I cannot find any around that price range. So I took a gamble with cheaper stuff and I am currently wrapped up with both kinds of tape, waiting for my second fitting, praying they don’t unstick before then 😂.

Do you know the brand of it? I was just seeing some horror reviews about KT and gaffer tape ripping skin. So I have been skeptical about buying anything stronger :/

You could try silicone "cutlets" or those "rabbit ear" style covers depending on the cut of your dress. I'm a 32D/34C and my dress has an illusion mesh bodice with a low cut front and low back with tapered straps so I am in a similar boat. I can go braless but would love some lift and probably should at least wear nipple covers to be safe, but many of the "lifting" boob covers have thicker tops that are too wide to wear under my dress without being visible. I bought some tapered cutlets and they're okay. I like that they are reusable and they stick well, but don't give me much lift and I need to be super careful with the placement or they are visible under my dress. I was going to try boob tape, but am worried about getting the placement just right, and I've considered rabbit ears but would need to cut the ears so they wouldn't be visible. I'm going to follow this thread. If you find a solution definitely let me know!

You need to double up with boobie tape AND one of those sticky bras. I am literally doing the same. If you can't afford the boobie tapb you can always do what Kim Kardashian did before she created her own tape...which is use duct tape! Then wear a bra with as much support as can offer without it showing

I've used these before (different brand but similar style) I was surprised that they worked honestly cause i have 34DDs and they held me up well. I can't attest for dancing around like crazy but for regular walking around stuff they worked well. Also not sure what the cut of your dress is... If i wore this with mine it would show over my illusion top.

You could always do more than one thing...boob tape + adhesive bra for extra coverage.

I get a lot of adds on Instagram for nueboo boob tape, and kim kardashian's skims line also has breast tape.

Im from the UK and boob tape is ok, but us girls tend to use sports tape that the guys use for rugby. This will not budge!

This is what I used to tame my 36DDs, and it worked wonders. I have worn it overnight a couple times, and it stayed throughout the day.

Ah that’s exactly what I did for one of my fittings! After I made this post, I went to the fitting (with both on) and after about an hour or so, I could really feel it sticking! Like at first I thought it was going to fall off, I was sweating and moving around as much as possible and when I finally took everything off in the evening, it was all definitely stuck! So maybe I just need to put these on first thing in the morning (day of wedding) and give it a little while to fully adhere.

But yes! It was tape AND the silicon sticky nipple covering with the extra flap that gives it a lift!

When you went to take it off, was it painful? Did it rip your skin?

It is difficult to take off, but not really painful. I did give myself a few blisters the first time from going too fast. You have to go super slow.
