Any regret on your bouquet? Too expensive? Too heavy? Didn’t come out as you wanted? Falling apart? Stained your dress? The stems too long? Covering your dress? Got allergic reaction? Please share ❤️

Professional resin preservation, hands down! I’ve seen coasters, ring holders, bookends, candle holders, just pretty blocks, etc.

When it comes to a bouquet, bigger is definitely better. If there's any piece of floral to splurge on, it's the one thing that is going to be in basically every picture!

I loved my bouquet (peace roses and Gerbera daisies) BUT I hung it to dry after the wedding and the Gerberas didn't do so well hanging. I had to cut them out before I put it in the shadow box - which I regret.

Aw thanks! I shouldn’t call it hideous. It did coordinate well with our tropical centerpieces...it was just so off from what I asked for!

But I get it ... it was NOT what you asked for. At all. Not even close. 😫

I feel this post. I have bouquet regret. My florist did a wonderful job with the ceremony decor and the centerpieces, but I should have been far more assertive with my expectations from the get-go regarding my actual bouquet. She was very responsive to me in emails leading up the wedding and I believe really tried hard to work with me on what I liked. However, she included several white spider mums with a green center (I'm pretty sure mums were on my do NOT use list - I personally think these flowers look cheap and took away from my bouquet), and she added these pink astilbe flowers which I did not anticipate. And, it was a round bouquet which I knew would be more awkward for me to pose with in photos and to hold.

I had stated I wanted peonies and peach juliet garden roses to be the focal points on my bouquet, along with an asymmetrical hand tied design. (Emphasis on asymmetrical).

Now, I know it states in the contract that a florist is entitled to a little bit of artistic integrity and can exercise discretion in incorporating some other fl

owers into the design... but come on! Mums?!?!

Am I right in being irritated with this? Am I unreasonable in thinking this is not ideal?

Instead, this is what I received below: (this photo was taken the day before my wedding when everything was ready to go; I had asked her assistant at the time if they could please remove the mums and add more juliet roses, but I was told that it would have been very difficult given the bouquet was assembled already). So, I shrugged it off.

Now, it's beautiful and looked and smelled fresh, don't get me wrong. But it did not align with me expectations, at all. To be frank, it looks a bit dated as a floral arrangement and does not represent who I am, but it is what it is. I'm just salty because spent a lot of money and I feel like she did not listen to me (with respect to this one thing alone, everything else - the swag, the centerpieces, were beautiful). BUT... we just got our professional photos back this morning, and this damn bouquet is in literally every other photo. The bridal bouquet is the most important prop because it shows up everywhere. So I feel compelled to post because I am annoyed, despite being able to not do anything about it after the fact.

I hate to say it, but I should have trusted my gut and went with someone a little more intuitive. I think I may ask my photographer to edit out the mums that's how pissed I am (I know he can do it, I know it's extreme though).

What do you guys think? Have him make some edits (to the formal portraits, not everything) or let it go?

I had a brooch bouquet I would not trade if for anything it was a little small but it fit the job perfectly and it will never die.

Yes! My florist and I specifically talked about a PETITE BOUQUET because I am very petite and was so obsessed with my dress I didn’t want it covered up with a giant bouquet. I ended up with a bouquet the size of a toddler. I also wanted blush tones throughout to compliment the blush tones of my dress but had mostly dark red and orange and only a handful of pink flowers around the edge. Aaand I think I carried it upside down most of the day cuz I couldn’t tell which way was up 🤦🏻‍♀️ it was beautiful anyway, but one of my bigger regrets was not speaking up when the flowers were delivered and asking if the bouquet could be made smaller.
